With Mobile Crews we can supply midsize and larger projects from Maine through Florida (if we can't due to other commitments, we will tell you who can). We are not tied to a single quarry, instead we can often send a mobile crew to a quarry that represents the best combination of rock quality and location for a particular project. Custom sizes can be produced for any size project. We carry our own MSHA Contractor ID Number; and work with the quarry to insure that our safety standards meet or exceed their own.

Marine Projects & Marine Contractors
The majority of revenue for most aggregate quarries come from the sale of relatively small aggregate to projects within a tight radius of the quarry. Most marine projects are composed of relatively large aggregate shipped to projects nowhere near the quarry. The specifications are different, the conditions are different; and often the expectations of the project owners and government bodies overseeing are different. Producing and shipping rock for marine projects is Chesapeake Armour Stone's core expertise.
We understand marine project specifications, gradations, and government expectations. Over the years, our leadership has consulted government agencies like the USACE on rock specifications, available sources, and budgets.
Due to the distances involved, we strive to minimize logistics, including the use of truck, rail and barge
We can often modify a rock gradation on the fly, as project conditions and project stages change
We stand by our products and customers - we are available on your site for inspections and meetings
